We invite artists from around the world to apply for the RIGA CONTEMPORARY SURREALISM BIENNALE 2026, a joint project by Art Riga Fair (Latvia) and VOYZX Fine Art Project (Canada).

The Biennale is a global platform for experimentation, showcasing artists whose oeuvre relates to Automatism, Biomorphism, Dada, Metaphysical Art, and Surrealism. We consider the following types of visual art: paintings, graphics, collages, original printmaking, photographs, ceramics, mixed media objects, video, sculptures, and installations.

Participation Types:
Participation can be in-person or absentee (you can send your artworks by courier, and we will send them back after the exhibition). Along with the physical exhibition at the historic Latvian Railway Museum, all selected artworks will be showcased in a 1-year 3D Virtual Exhibition.

PARTICIPATION FEES & STAND SIZES

Selected participants are asked to pay a moderate participation fee, which covers direct and indirect costs including rental, stand installation, administration, curatorial costs, publicity, and the 3D Virtual exhibition creation.

• Single wall 2m – 430 EUR
• Single wall 5m – 1075 EUR
• Large stand 2m+5m+5m+5m+1m – 2400 EUR

• Exhibition Assembly: May 8 – 9, 2026
• Exhibition Opening: May 10 at 17:00
• Exhibition Dismantling: May 30 from 17:00 to 19:00
