Express Contest

“Between Points”

Not the start and not the end, but what happens in between. The express contest of the third ART RIGA PHOTO FAIR invites you to photograph the moment between two points: a journey, a pause, a leap, a meeting, time passing.

The theme is open to every genre, from documentary and portrait to conceptual and experimental photography.

How to enter

• Entry is free and open to everyone.
• One photo per person, sent with the form below by 12 November 2026.
• JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB.

Public vote and jury

• We review every entry. Approved photos are added to the contest album on the Art Riga Fair Facebook page as they are reviewed, so the earlier you enter, the longer your photo collects votes.
• The public vote is the number of likes (reactions) on your photo in the album until 15 November, 23:59 Riga time. Share your photo with your friends!
• The final score combines the public vote (50%) with the jury's vote (50%).
• The winners are announced before the fair opens.

Prizes

1. A 5 m stand at ART RIGA PHOTO FAIR 2026, 23–29 November.
2. A 3 m stand.
3. A 3 m stand.

Rules

• The photo must be your own work.
• The organisers decide which entries are published and may decline any entry, for example photos that do not fit the theme or do not meet the contest's technical or artistic standard. As the vote takes place on Facebook, we also cannot publish photos that Facebook's rules do not allow (for example, nudity). Entries with artificial votes may be disqualified.
• You keep the copyright. By entering, you agree that the photo is published with your name in the contest album, on artriga.com and in the fair's communication about the contest.

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Meta. Entrants release Meta from any liability related to the contest.
