Theatre Play “THE CENTIPEDE”
As part of the Riga Contemporary Surrealism Biennale, we invite you to an exclusive physical theatre performance from Lithuania — “THE CENTIPEDE” (by El Cuarto de Meme Teatro). The performance will take place on Thursday, May 28th at 18:00 at the Latvian Railway History Museum.
Note: Your ticket for the theatre performance also includes full admission to the main Riga Contemporary Surrealism Biennale exhibition and the permanent collection of the Latvian Railway History Museum.
About the Show
In a grey, windy desert, two men are waiting. Kraps rules over a land that might not even exist. Melnais (The Black One) obeys, survives, and dreams. For thirty years, nothing has changed. Until a stranger arrives.
“THE CENTIPEDE” is a dark and absurd physical theatre production exploring themes of power, dependency, and the true price of waking up.
